'The Greatest Man who ever Lived'-1

The revelation of the characters can begin with none other the 'The Greatest Man who ever Lived', for one simple reason- in my eyes, he is the greatest =). This is a man who has inspired me for as long as i can remember. This is his story,a part of it at least. Just something to begin with....
It all began in the year 1926. He was sixteen, lived in a tiny little house with his mother, much too small for that many children, in a state not too far from poverty. His father had passed away a couple of years prior to this and his mother struggled to keep body and soul together, but she did the best she could, and for this he adored and respected her with all he had. But the difference is that he wasn't just another little village boy. He had dreams. 'Fire in his belly' as its called. Ambition. A passion for life in itself. And this caused him to leave...
One day, with the little bit of money he had and the shirt on his back, this young boy boarded a train. He wasn't sure exactly where he was going or but what his plan of action was but he took a leap of faith nevertheless. A risk, in the pursuit of happiness...

Prologue to a Potpourri

Well my first post shall serve as nothing more than a mere introduction to Cold Sunshine... What this blog, that i hope will enthrall and excite you in the journey that we are to take together in the days to come, shall contain.

Nothing has fascinated me or scared me more than the human mind- its intricacies that we often pretend to understand, but yet fail miserably in doing so. In the books that I've read, it is the stories of ordinary people who live extraordinary lives, in their own simple ways, that astound me the most. Thus, through this blog, i seek to weave you into my world of real life characters- be it, 'The Greatest Man who ever Lived'- the man who ran away from his little poverty-stricken village at the age of 16 to pursue a life of greatness, or 'The Very Human Supermom' who has managed to raise brilliantly astounding children by being a role model, but has endured storms one couldn't possibly perceive by the smile that lights up her face everyday.
Hopefully some of you will be able to identify with some of my characters, such as 'The Romantic Rapper'- the young boy who masks his pain with a facade of foul-mouthed conversation and crude jokes, but whose life is turned around by a girl who sees the gold within. Or maybe you will fall in love with 'The Man who draws with sounds not pencils'- that forlorn musician, who is ever in search of happiness and love, that he seems to be more in love with love itself than any of the women around him, And then, there is me....
Cold Sunshine- the girl with a million stories to tell. The girl, rather woman, of strange contradictions, who prefers to feel hurt and pain than to be a numb lifeless being. My thoughts, my beliefs, my hopes and my feelings shall all be entwined into these expositions, so that you may know me a little better as we share this journey together....
          Shall we begin? =)
